Dept. of Set Decoration
For those of you not in the know, and I'm assuming there's a fair amount of you, I have recently moved with the woman I love into a sparkling new apartment full of promise. This marks the first time either of us has dared to co-habitate, but we're about as optimistic as you can get.
Some perks and features of my new place:
- Dishwasher: We had a dinner party last night with 14 people at the house. I cannot - no - will not subject myself to the torture of handwashing 14 people's dishes.
- Garbage disposal: Um, I cook. Enough said.
- Double-height ceilings: The whole place feels so much bigger.
- Sliding french-doors: This will be so nice in the summer when it's hot.

Woo! Congrats on the new apartment(and step up in the relationship), it looks great. :)
Congratulations! A new place with new decorating possibilities is always fun. From the picture it looks like the two of you have done well so far!
DAMN that is a nice apartment Steve! And cohabitation... it's not so scary eh?
We have no dishwasher or disposal, but we have a sink, soap, sponge and towels, and a garbage bag for the foodscraps. But we do have a balcony... which is a vast improvement from our old place in the basement.
That's a gorgeous apartment! Where are you living now?
And congrats, by the way.
