THE RETURN

Sorry kids, I been busy. I know there are people out there who think that blogging is of utmost importance and let's get one thing straight - THESE PEOPLE ARE FOOLS. I have a real life and a job and work to do for the Voice and the Emerald, and oh yeah, school.

Now getting down to the nitty gritty.... I have some topics I want to discuss....

Freshmen - alright WTF is up with you fools! I know was once a spritely young frosh (two years ago to be exact) but it really didnt occur to me just how obnoxious these kids are until this year. I think this is because last year I lived on the other side of the river (this year I am a block and a half from campus and right outside Riotville) and I didn't have to deal with inexperienced Freshmen binge drinking and puking all over my sidewalks.

Also, learn how to read a god damned map. I know college is a big scary place but you can read a map - I know you can - and realize that the Law Library is not next to Allen Hall... it's on the other side of campus.

The Ducks - They suck...but only after rocking Michigan's ass...so...err. Whatever, get it together or I quit.

Economics - I'm taking my first term of economics, a class required by the Journalism school, and I am utterly miserable. It is the most wretched subject on the face of the earth and economists should be burned as witches. The biggest joke of all is the fact that approx 35% of that class is journalism majors (by rough estimate) and the two subjects just don't mix - AT ALL. Journalism is all about ethics, idealism, and thinking outside the box - by contrast - Econ is all about thinking inside the box, and as my professor gracefully put it "Ethics and Economics are mutually exclusive."

-sigh-
